The Friends of Friends label is releasing a compilation today called "Show Me the Future," on which Hemsworth contributes "An Overture Might Help Me Stop Thinking About You," another piece with a certain dramatic flair, but this time with emphasis on the groove and more of a hip-hop feel.

The most interesting "Show Me the Future" highlight comes from a new cat named Pcoat, whose track "Division" is a hypnotizing LA-style beat peppered with atmospheric pads and chopped up synths.

And finally, last month Karriem Riggins released a brilliant video for "Round the Outside," coming from his album Alone Together on Stone's Throw. The video was directed by Tuomas Vauhkonen and Jeremias Nieminen, and takes the concept of the stereoscopic "jitter" image to an inevitable next level, including what appear to be smoked-out dancing deities.
