• Jeff McIlwain, better known as Lusine, has been producing electronic music since around 1999. Lusine's sound (from his many releases to his film soundtrack work) is distinct in that it's stylistically dynamic, but still easily recognizable. Sounds and textures are meticulously crafted in such a way that one can easily overlook their complexity with a casual listen. His forthcoming EP, from which you can preview the title track below, is out August 5 from Ghostly International, and is available for pre-order in vinyl and digital formats.

    From Ghostly International:
The release of Arterial, his fourth EP for Ghostly, marks another successful foray into a niche that most artists would spend their careers immersed in. A calmly effortless work, Arterial is economical in everything it does, creating its own tiny universe to house expertly crafted productions. On the title track, crackling samples simmer like heated atoms narrowly missing each other, suspending us as we wait for release.
