Underground hip-hop producer Chris Alfaro, better known as Free the Robots, released a name-your-own-price EP this week on Bandcamp, in anticipation of the full length follow-up to his stellar 2010 LP Ctrl Alt Delete, which he states should be coming this year. If you're a fan of all things beat, and you somehow haven't been hipped to Free the Robots, consider this your wake-up call. This is a dude that all your favorite producers are copping ideas from.
About In Other Worlds, Alfaro writes: It's been awhile since my last record, and I feel its about time to move forward in my next chapter of music. I have been prepping the next full length album, due to release this year. Before that, here is a new EP I wanted to share. I united four tracks that i started during the ,Ctrl Alt Delete/ the Minds Eye era with some current ideas, as a re-cap and segway into the next album. Stay tuned for "The Balance."
