Clark - Suns of Temper

On September 16, Warp Records will be releasing a double album by British producer Chris Clark. The 29-track collection, entitled Feast/Beast, is comprised of Clark's remixes of both his own material and that of Amon Tobin, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, and Battles. Bibio and Nathan Fake contribute remixes of Clark tunes as well.

To preview the album, check out Clark's captivating rework of the gritty tune "Suns of Temper" from his own 2009 LP Totems Flare. The remix is split into two movements: the first half is a huge a departure from the original; a sort of exercise in minimalism, while the second half counters with a grandiose mountain of twisted textures in half time. It's a beautiful ride.
